As the importance of work-life balance has been emphasized, many organizations are introducing various family-friendly systems to secure good talent. The Korea Coast Guard is also implementing various family-friendly systems implemented by the government to engage employees in the organization, but there is a lack of research on this topic. Therefore, this study empirically verified whether the family-friendly system directly affects organizational commitment or mediates work-family balance among marine police officers. The results showed that among the family-friendly systems, satisfaction with the use of annual leave and satisfaction with the Family Love Day increased organizational commitment, and satisfaction with the flexible work system, satisfaction with the use of annual leave, and satisfaction with the Family Love Day increased organizational commitment by mediating work-family balance. Based on these result, the following policy recommendations were made. First, it is necessary to increase the ease of use so that members can easily utilize the system. Second, it is necessary to establish various family-friendly programs that fit the working environment of the Korean Coast Guard. Finally, it is necessary to create a family-friendly culture within the organization.
