Jeju Port, which has a narrow water area, is using a one-way routing policy that allows unidirectional traffic. Due to the characteristics of these ports, vessels entering and leaving Jeju Port enter and leave the port in order based on the instructions of the Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) operator belonging to the Korea Coast Guard. In order to predict ship movement accurately, this paper calculate statistics on the transit time of vessels entering and leaving the Jeju port based on the Automatic Identification System (AIS) data. We propose algorithms to calculate the travel time of ships using AIS data, and calculated the statistics of the entering or leaving travel time of the Jeju harbor area for the past one year and six months. As the result of the experiments, the ships arriving in Jeju prefer to berth with the departure direction attitude, and the moving time of the ship berthing in the departure direction attitude was shorter than the arrival direction attitude. In addition, since the transit time of ship arrival at Jeju Port was 1.5~2.2 times longer than the transit time of ship departure, it would be possible to improve the efficiency of the port by placing the departure ships first.
